Nahargarh Fort, Jaipur

Nahargarh Fort was the most historical and majestic fort in the Jaipur state of Rajasthan. The Fort offers such a beautiful view of the pink city (Jaipur). Nahargarh Fort built in 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II.
Nahargarh Fort was originally named Sudarshangarh but it was change known as Nahargarh, which means ‘abode of tigers’.

Rajasthan is a very hot and desert place. So, to avoid the heat and warm temperature visit Nahargarh Fort in winter months i.e. from early October to March. Morning and evening hours are ideal for a stroll in the fort premises.

Easily reach to Nahargarh Fort by road and rail. There are main three junctions nearby which are Jaipur, Durgapur and Gandhinagar. You can hire a bus, taxi, auto-rickshaw and cab from the capital of the city.
