Jaighar fort is one of the famous forts of Rajasthan. Jaigarh fort was built in 1726 AD by Sawan Jai Singh II. Fort is situated on the promontory called the Cheel ka Teela (Hill of Eagles) of the Aravalli range. It is located 500 feet above sea level and 15 km from the pink city of India (Jaipur). Jaighar Fort Rajasthan was made by sandstone and purpose was to protect the Amer fort. It is the strongest fort in Rajasthan. This Fort is mostly known as the fort of Victory, mainly constructed to store the weapons and military armaments.
