Amber Fort, Jaipur (Pink City)

Amber Fort is one of the most beautiful and famous Forts of Rajasthan. Its also called as Amber Fort. It is situated in Amer 11 kilometres from Jaipur and it was the capital of Rajasthan before Jaipur. Amber Fort built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh 1 one of the Navratnas of Emperor Akber. Built in red stones and marbles and Maota Lake add a certain charm to the entire Fort with its high ramparts, many gates, cobbled path, and splendid view. It was the combination of Mughal and Hindu style. It is the principal tourist attraction in Jaipur. Amber Fort also has the Shila Devi Temple and the Ganesh pol which is a gate that leads the private palaces of the Kings. Amer fort elephant ride is also famous. Amer fort elephant ride is not too much costly. You should try and enjoy it.

Best Time To Visit Amber Fort:

Rajasthan is a hot state in India. During summer it’s very difficult to walk or come out. So, to avoid the summer season to visit here. The best time to plan a trip to Rajasthan during winter November to March.

It is only 11 kilometres far from Jaipur. buses, auto-rickshaws, and taxis are available from Jaipur. Public buses for Amer town form Ajmeri Gate and MI Road. Amer Fort is on the hill to reach the fort enjoy the thrill and joy of an elephant ride at the fort.
